Imagined by Sébastien Billières, Master Watchmaker and son of a watchmaker, this exceptional creation draws inspiration from his childhood memories, immersed in the world of racing circuits and collectible miniature cars. His grandfather’s renowned boutique, a treasure trove of race cars, model tracks, and collector’s items, attracted enthusiasts from across Europe. A place of fascination for Sébastien and his sister, Sarah, it fuelled their lifelong passion for intricate mechanics.
On the dial, the “8-path” symbolizing infinity becomes a circuit where time moves forward without ever stopping. Three hand-engraved 18K rose gold miniature racing cars engage in a relentless duel and never-ending chase, bringing the mechanics of time to life:
- The leading car, with its bold red stripe, marks the passing minutes in an hour – forever pursued yet never caught.
- The other two race cars, with their sleek forms and white stripes, remain in constant pursuit, illustrating the tension of a race that never ends.
- Three peripheral arrows, inspired by trackside curbs, indicate the hours.

Powered by the 260Rh-2 caliber, the Time2Race movement – with its patented “8-path” – was entirely conceived, developed and assembled in Genus’ workshop in Geneva. A remarkable 278 individually hand-finished components work together to provide a reliable 50 hours of power reserve to the cars, traveling around the distinctive rim shaped minute wheels. The 43 mm Grade 5 titanium case flatters and protects this remarkable ensemble.

Designed for performance, inspired by speed, the GNS Time2Race blends cutting-edge horology with a dynamic visual identity. Underneath its motorsport-inspired aesthetics lies a complex, manually wound movement developed in-house by GENUS.
